Cottage Closing and Opening Procedures

• We must receive advance notification... at least 10 business days of your drain after date.
• A Premium could be charged if we do not receive a 10 day notice
• Appointment request will be granted on first come first serve basis and will be full filled based on workload
• Please inform us of any security changes on the house IE: Lock change, Installed new locks and codes on security system
• Please notify us of any plumbing changes , appliances replacement and additional appliances installed
• If you have natural gas and prefer to have DTE lock out your meter during close period or have them re-instate service. Please check with our dispatch on scheduling to try to accommodate
• Weather and temperature can change dramatically in northern Michigan. Please set thermostat @ 50 degrees (60 degress for high efficiency furnaces) and allow us if we are closing cottage to shut down the heating system.
• When opening the cottage please let us know if there is no heat source or the area that you most desire heat.
